Well Done! Gulf Oil Marine’s Middle East Customer Service Team

Gulf Oil Marine Middle East team is pleased to receive an appreciation email from our customer, Leeds Marine Supply, thanking our efforts for delivering an urgent order at Port Greenore, Ireland during the public holiday in Ireland and thereby easing their vessel emergency.

 

Leeds Marine Supply placed an urgent order on Monday 28th Oct afternoon, requesting to deliver the products to MX Express 1 on 29th Oct (which is a public holiday in Ireland). Due to the constraints at Greenore in Ireland, the regular delivery agent could not make arrangements for the delivery on time, prior to the vessel departure.

 

The vessel would arrive on 30th Oct afternoon, and would remain in port for only 24 hours. Our Customer Service Manager, Mr. Saravanan Parameswaran understood the criticality of this oil supply for continued vessel operations; Saravana intervened quickly by approaching the trader directly in making the logistic coordination. He coordinated closely with the trader to successfully arrange and prepare all products on 29th Oct evening and made the OTIF (on-time in full) delivery safely on 31st Oct evening before the vessel’s departure.

 

The vessel owner is very happy with our team’s great support and prompt actions, in particular, Saravanan’s logistic coordination which made possible this difficult urgent supply.
