Well done! Gulf Oil Marine HK Customer Service and India Supply Chain team!

Our Hong Kong Customer Service team received an urgent order for supplying lubricants for their vessel, at Anavatos II at Galle, Sri Lanka, on 18th January morning, requesting products to be delivered onboard by 19th Jan which is a Sunday (the local customs department are closed for the weekends!).

 

Aware that lube supplies in Galle usually require about 3 – 4 working days from order confirmation to delivery, our HK Customer Service Officer, Ms. Charlotte Mok responded quickly to try to confirm the order with customer in the evening on 18th Jan.

 

She also worked closely with our customers for the timely updates of logistic arrangements during the weekend, while our Supply Chain Officer, Mr. Santosh Gawde closely followed up and coordinated with the local customs and local supplier to ensure the customs permission and all products ready during the weekend.  Despite the challenges and time constraint, our supply chain and customer service teams were able to secure urgent permission from the local customs to successfully deliver the order in time for the ship transit on Sunday, 19th January.

 

Our customer was appreciative for Charlotte’s prompt coordination and timely arrangement; we are very thankful for the customers kind remarks!!
