Gulf Oil Marine has recently released its 2020 position paper, which explores the various compliance options and challenges facing the maritime industry when preparing for the switch to low Sulphur fuel or scrubbers.

The position paper presents a range of Gulf Oil Marine’s engine lubricants which are compatible for the various compliant-fuel solutions for 2020, regardless of their engine type, fuel type and sphere of operation. It also addressed the transitional issues associated with the upcoming Sulphur regulation and how Gulf Oil Marine’s plans to ensure a ‘smooth, hassle free and cost-effective’ transition.
